The Carrot Cake Bagel

Ingredients

  • 1 Everything Bagelry Cinnamon Raisin Bagel
  • 2 tbsp whipped cream cheese 
  • 2 tsp brown sugar 
  • 1 small carrot
  • Pecans or walnuts
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

1. Make the sweet cream cheese spread 

Mix 2 tablespoons of whipped cream cheese and 2 teaspoons of brown sugar. We eyeballed this and tweaked it to our liking. Feel free to do the same. Set aside.

2. Prep the carrot

Peel one small carrot then finely grate. The carrot we have pictured above is overkill. It was just aesthetically pleasing. 

3. Pecans or walnuts? 

Chop your pecans or walnuts.

4. Toast the bagel

Slice then toast your beautiful Everything Bagelry Cinnamon Raisin Bagel to your liking.

5. Build the bagel

Spread the sweet cream cheese onto both halves of the bagel. 

Sprinkle carrots and pecans or walnuts on top. We couldn't decide on nuts so we used both.

Top with a drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

6. Enjoy!


Optional Ideas

  • If you're allergic to walnuts, don't use them. :)
  • If you're not a fan of raisins, switch out the bagel for our French Toast Bagel.
